Take Away from the Distance Learning

The lockdown is being eased in multiple parts of the country and everyone is coming out with wisdom and more understanding towards one another, teachers have coped up with the digital age and are now conducting online classes. Here’s what we found after discussing it with many teachers.

TEACHING AND RELATIONSHIPS

The foundation of teaching lies in how you treated them how you aided them. Students remember the tiny things you remember about them. Learning has its roots in relationships and this pandemic has helped teachers to understand and forge better relationships.
The planning should include some time to develop bonds apart from teaching which means apart from learning where the teacher can know who their students are.

ALL PARENT AND EDUCATORS  PARTNERSHIP

As long as we in lock-down, parents are teacher’s assistants. They can only teach over the screen but it is a parent’s job to make sure that it is being soaked by students and applied.
If parents joined such sessions for kids of primary and indulge in explanations and working out quizzes the kids will learn

TEACHING SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE AND TAILORED TO STUDENTS’ NEEDS

When you are teaching on online platforms your teaching must include all the digital tools and your pace needs to be determined by the attention span of every student and also what type of learners are they.

MENTAL HEALTH: A PRIORITY

Everyone feels depressed and is trying hard to ensure that morals are up. Anyhow, mental health resounds to their learning abilities, not every student learns the same way.

A RESPONSIBLE ATTITUDE

As a community, we are away but not disconnected. The care that brings up a strong generation of learners is something that needs works from both parents and teachers alike.
Respecting a child’s privacy and knowing the right patterns of education as they develop.
